I encountered an item on Youtube discussing the question: If Trump feels rejected by the American people, will he then try to exact vengeance by doing all the damage he can during the rest of his term? He has a model for this in Adolf Hitler who at the end of WWII gave orders for Germany to be completely destroyed because it had failed him.

I suppose there is more damage he could do, although he seems to have done quite a lot already. He has suborned the Republican Party, started an insurrection, stolen classified documents, undermined our government by appointing incompetents, has allowed ideologues to wreck out government agencies, destroyed our alliances with other countries, colluded with the criminal regimes of Russia and Israel, compromised our security forces, has made America an object of contempt and ridicule around the world, enriched the super-rich, multiplied his own wealth many times, has destroyed the American economy, defunded research, has through ICE sponsored ethnic-cleansing in the U.S. In short, he has polluted everyone and everything he touches.

What additional damage can he do? He may be the first to use nuclear weapons since WWII, may purposely cause a complete economic depression, pollute the atmosphere, destroy national parks and museums, give away all federal land, further incite class hostility. We will have to wait and see.
