20 X 2025: King of Incontinence

I’ve read of an AI cartoon posted online that shows Trump wearing a crown, sitting at the controls of an obsolete fighter jet, and dumping his shit on demonstrators below. This is all only partially true. Trump has no crown — he’s a dictator, not a king. Trump would not fly a fighter jet, but would use his new flying palace which could carry much more shit. However, no one doubts that Trump is full of shit, so much so that he is famously incontinent and cannot even control the shit he dumps on all the world.

15 X 2025: Thoughts on incompetence

The Trump regime is not the Amateur Hour, nor a clown-car. Amateurs make an earnest effort at their art, and clowns can be masters of their profession.

No, the Trump regime is a constellation of self-admiring incompetents.

I’ve known many incompetents, have myself been incompetent in some things I have tried. Now, I’ve perceived two kinds of incompetents. There are those who find themselves in jobs for which they know they are incompetent, admit their incompetence, and seek help and guidance so that they will eventually become competent. The second type are those who do not know that they are incompetent and think their perennial screw-ups are successes. These are the terminal incompetents, and the Trump regime is crawling with them.

3 X 2025: They’re just like Trump

A clerical supporter of James G. Blaine, Rev. Samuel Dickinson Burchard, denounced the Democrats of his time as “the party whose antecedents have been RUM, ROMANISM and REBELLION.”

On Truth [sic] Social our Dictator has surpassed even Rev. Burchard, and describes Democrats as “the party of hate, evil, and Satan.” Did the Dictator really mean this, or did he write it during one of his dry-drunk sessions with Truth Social? I think he meant it. Here’s why.

Trump regularly describes his opponents as mirrors of himself, sc., he charges them with the crimes of which he himself is guilty. So of course Trump sees any adversary as incarnating his very own “hate, evil, and Satan.”

30 IX 2023: grow up to be like Hegseth?

Well, I was wrong about the purposes of Hegseth’s roundup of upper echelon military. It seems the real purposes were:

1) give Trump another stage on which to repeat old lies and a few recent ones

2) to show off Hegseth as a model for the U.S. military

As to 1: why do the media keep reporting Trump lies?  The fact that Trump is a compulsive liar is not news.

As to 2: should members of the U.S. military train to become blowhard, ass-kissing, hard drinking, womanizing, liars?

26 IX 2025: To eliminate top echelon of military

Hegseth has summoned all the top military officers from around the world to a meeting next Tuesday at Quantico VA. No one knows why he has called this utterly unexampled meeting. I’ve two suggestions about its purpose:

1) he plans to force them to swear their personal loyalty to Donald Trump

or

2) they will all be arrested at this meeting and the upper echelon of the military, a group that could oppose Trump’s dictatorship, will be out of the way.

25 IX 2025: How did Tylenol piss Trump off?

Lots in the news about our Great Physician’s attack on acetaminophin. I’ve not seen a convincing cause suggested for this attack, so we can only guess. Was it precipitated by Trump’s personal witch-doctor, Mr. Kennedy? Did Trump overhear someone spreading rumors about Tylenol at a Mar a Lago party? Or, what seems to me more likely, someone at Tylenol said something that pissed Trump off.

24 IX 2025: The cloaca maxima

The Elder Seneca (died c 39 AD) reports hearing a braggart boasting that he might be the equal of the top figures in several fields, “if I were a gladiator, I would be Fusius; if I were a dancer, I would be Bathyllus, etc.” Seneca continues: “I couldn’t hold my temper and shouted: ‘If you were a sewer, you would be the Biggest Sewer,” i.e., Rome’s Cloaca maxima.

This story was brought to mind by Trump’s speech at the United Nations. Lying and bragging and threatening are Trump’s “safe place,” the source of this ever-flowing, often flooding Cloaca maxima of self-promotion.

22 IX 2025: Triumph of the Will

Everything I see and hear from the rally-cum-funeral of Charlie Kirk reminds me of Leni Riefenstahl’s documentary about the 1934 Nazi Party Congress, Triumph of the Will. All the Nazi big shots were there for the Congress, and soundbites from their addresses are worked into the film: you can see Hess, Goebbels, Rosenberg, Streicher, Ley, et al. Hitler, of course, is presented giving several passionate speeches.

The “Hate your Enemies Rally” in Arizona was in many ways similar. A star-studded cast from the Trump regime were present, many of them addressed the assembled faithful. Trump waxed Hitlerian in his “I hate my enemies” speech. However, the Oscar-winning Hitler imitator was Stephen Miller who delivered an unashamedly bigoted, hate-filled, foam-at-the-mouth speech that would have delighted the assembled members at Nuremberg in 1934.

21 IX 2025: Rally round

Charlie Kirk, whatever his faults, deserved a better funeral than one appended to the Trump Rally taking place out in Arizona. Yes, they have turned Charlie into a modern-day Horst Wessel, or, in Cardinal Dolan’s words, a “modern-day Saint Paul.” They’ve got a much larger crowd than Trump can usually draw these days, but who doesn’t like a good cry and a stage show worthy of Albert Speer. Trump is there, leading a star-studded troupe of the Trump nobility, and inviting all of MAGA to seek revenge for Charlie’s murder (if not in these exact terms).

Is Charlie’s death going to become the new Reichstag Fire?
