1 VIII 2025: Belshazzar Trump

When not vandalizing America’s government and heritage, Trump is vandalizing government buildings. Trump, who has the aesthetics of an urbanized red-neck, has already twice vandalized the White House and is now planning to increase the damage by re-building to accommodate a 650 person ballroom. Apparently Trump thinks he knows about ballrooms and, of course, has the taste to see to it that the decor of the proposed ballroom will be a perennial embarrassment to the United States.

Trump wants space in the White House for really big events like Belshazzar’s Feast in the Book of Daniel. King Belshazzar was throwing a really big event for 1000 of his retainers. He, his concubines, and his guests were drinking their wine from the vessels looted from the Temple in Jerusalem, living it up, until Belshazzar saw the writing upon the wall …

31 VII 2025: Trump’s appointments could be much worse

Most of Donald Trump’s appointees are incompetent and corrupt. He has usually selected people whom he knows, e.g., his one-time lawyers, golf buddies, and celebrities more notorious than they are renowned. However, the appointments made by the depraved Roman Emperor Elagabalus show us how lucky we are:  “As prefect of the guard he appointed a dancer⁠ who had been on the stage at Rome, as prefect of the watch a chariot-driver named Cordius,⁠ and as prefect of the grain-supply a barber named Claudius,⁠ and to the other posts of distinction he advanced men whose sole recommendation was the enormous size of their privates.”

22 VI 2025: Denial points the way to the truth

1) Is there any rational American who does not think that Trump might have been involved in Epstein’s underworld? Trump’s record certainly warrants this suspicion.

2) If there’s nothing there, why have they dropped everything in order to hide it?

3) I want to know what the 100 FBI agents did or did not find in their survey of the Epstein materials. Of course, we won’t ever know this. Indeed, if these 100 agents found Trump in the Epstein papers, I’m sure that Trump is not there any longer.

3) Speaker Johnson’s behavior adds to my suspicion.

4) And we have learned that the more energetically Trump denies something, the more likely it is to be true.

5) How long before Trump pulls a Jimmy Swaggert and does an “I have sinned” routine”?

21 VII 2025: Israel slows genocide, dupes Trump

Headline on CNN today: “Western nations slam Israel’s ‘drip feeding of aid’ to Gaza as health ministry says 1,000 killed seeking supplies.” I suppose the outcry at Israel’s ongoing genocide of Palestinians made things too hot for Netanyahu & Co., so they’ve cut back on the number of Palestinians to be killed daily.

Another CNN healing reads: “Trump ‘caught off guard’ by Israel’s actions in Gaza and Syria last week as skepticism of Netanyahu grows inside White House.” So Netanyahu has made a sucker of Trump. Not surprising.

Florida legislators were finally allowed to visit the ICE concentration camp in Florida, the one called Alligator Alcatraz. The democrats among the legislators found the site absolutely appalling. But I’ve seen a report that

“State Sen. Blaise Ingoglia, a Republican from Florida, countered that he had seen a well-run, safe facility where the living quarters were clean and the air conditioning worked well.”

What was he paid or how was he compelled not to see, not to smell, not to feel?

7 VII 2025: Demonic forces

In an interview discussed in the National Catholic Reporter, Cornell West is quoted as follows: “We are witnessing the collapse and implosion of the American empire in real time. The cause is organized greed and weaponized hatred.”

“Organized greed,” “weaponized hatred,” that is the Trump Administration facilitated by demonic forces set loose in America. One might object that I am being melodramatic in seeing demonic influences at work in what might be called simply a political change. But I think it is wise to call a spade a spade. The collapse of America is due to an omni-pervasive corruption: MAGA, the 50% who voted for Trump, the Republican Party, Trump and his toadies; the corruption is vast and still spreading. The seeds of this corruption have always been present in a polity that deifies greed; they needed only the manure of Trumpism to make them bloom.

4 VII 2025: Who hates America?

4th of July. My congratulations to all Americans who have not been marked with the sign of the Beast.

Trump made some revealing assertions yesterday.

He said democrats voted against his Big Beautiful Thievery because they hate him, Trump, the Center of the World that revolves around him.

He said he hates democrats. Well, of course, hate is his default mode, and he hates especially anyone who does not fall in with his self-aggrandizing delusions.

He said that the democrats hate America. As so often, he projects himself on to those who contradict him. Trump is the one who is trying to destroy America’s government, impoverish its people, ridicule its ideals, and subject it to his own ego. Is this not hatred?

1 VII 2027: War on humanity

Trump, psycho tyrant, and Bondi (Wicked Witch of the GOP) are going to look for ways to “denaturalize” American citizens of whom they disapprove.

Of course! This is just another manifestation of the process of denaturalization of the Trump regime and its slaves in the Republican Party. I guess I’d be clearer if I use the alternative “dehumanization,” for that is just what we are witnessing.

We’ve seen attacks on basic freedoms, concentration camps, secret police, plans for mass deportation, cutoffs of medical support to millions of people here and abroad, undeclared economic wars, undeclared ballistic wars. Trump has been cozying up to mass-murderers like Putin and Netanyahu. He had a go at mass-murder when he deliberately bungled the COVID19 epidemic. Now he’ll be killing masses of people by destroying USAID and Medicaid

How is it that Trump gets away with crime upon crime and is so successful in destroying all that’s good and suppressing the truth? It is because he is aided by his master, Satan.
